Who You Are Helping

We are Mīharo Ora — a sensory-inclusive after-school care and holiday programme in Motueka, built from the ground up for autistic and neurodiverse children in the Nelson Tasman region. Many of these tamariki have been turned away from mainstream childcare. Many of their whānau are exhausted, isolated, and desperately seeking support. We are here for them.

Our centre is a place where a child's brain is celebrated — not just managed. Where meltdowns are met with compassion, not frustration. Where every child gets to let their rainbow shine.

Your $5 contributes to the resources, equipment, and running costs that keep our doors open. When hundreds of people give a little, it adds up to something life-changing for the families we serve.

Tē Whare Mīharo Ora Trust is a registered charitable trust under the Charities Act 2005. Donations of $5 or more may qualify for a 33.33% tax credit through Inland Revenue NZ.
