Donate $50 to Mīharo Ora – Change a Child's Week
Your $50 Changes a Child's Week
For many autistic children in Aotearoa, finding after-school care that truly understands them feels impossible. Mīharo Ora was built to change that — right here in Motueka, for tamariki and whānau across the Nelson Tasman region.
What Your $50 Can Do
A $50 donation could cover the cost of specialist sensory resources for a session, contribute to transport support for a family who can't easily get here, or fund part of the professional development that keeps our team exceptional. It is a meaningful contribution that has a real, visible impact on the children in our care.
The Problem We Are Solving
Neurodiverse children are too often excluded from mainstream after-school and holiday programmes — not because they aren't welcome, but because those services aren't built for them. The noise, the unpredictability, the social demands. The result is that their whānau can't work, can't rest, and can't get a break. Mīharo Ora exists to change that in our community. We provide a sensory-inclusive, joyful, OSCAR-accredited environment where neurodiverse tamariki are not just included — they thrive.
"These kids aren't broken. They're brilliant. They just need a space that's built for their brilliant."
— Louise Mann, Founder and CEO, Mīharo Ora
